2015 GT Manual Trans 1-2 Clunky

Has anyone else had a problem with their GT Manual Trans shifting kinda hard into 1st and 2nd? It seems better at high RPM's, but low RPM's in traffic when I downshift it seems like it always clunks into 2nd. Is this normal? It almost feels like maybe the clutch isn't fully in, but it is.

I took the clutch pedal spring out and it was a night and day difference. Much much easier to drive now.

Rev matching? How long have you been driving a manual transmission?
