2016 Mustang GT Running Rough

Hey all,

My 2016 GT 68000 miles is running rough, down on power, and a little over pressure.

This started about two weeks ago, I noticed taking off from my driveway that the car was shaking a bit, stopped and went back. The car starts fine, no metallic sounds, no typewriter noise, just runs rough and sounds a bit breathy. I drove it around the block and its definitely down on power as well, but not extremely so.

I also noticed in my short run that the oil pressure was nearing 100 just in taking off, not sure if this is normal. It settled a bit after the two minute drive.

Steps taken:
-Changed oil
-Changed spark plugs
-Cleaned MAF sensor

Extra info:
-Exhaust smell normal
-Exhaust look normal (no white or black smoke)
-Oil looked fine, no metal shards or signs of it mixing with coolant (no forbidden milkshake)
-Nothing thrown on obd2, checked while idling
-Double checked oil, normal level

Everything seems exactly the same after the steps I took. Desperately trying to avoid a rebuild. Any advice for next steps? Thanks.

You might just need to clean the throttle body. When my 2016 GT started to idle rough and hesitate on acceleration, I took the throttle body off the car and cleaned it. It ran fine after the cleaning. I also replaced the gasket.

I wear nitrile exam gloves. I use an old tooth brush and CRC throttle body and air intake cleaner. Video of the procedure below.

When you have finished cleaning the throttle body you will need to perform an electronic throttle body re-calibration.

a little over pressure
What does this mean? Are you talking about the oil?
I noticed taking off from my driveway that the car was shaking a bit
Like Kraig1957 said the TB is a good place to start. Cleaning it can help smooth out a rough, low, or inconsistent idle. If you have a fair amount of oil residue in the TB or intake manifold then a PCV oil catch can might be a good idea. You should check your PCV valve as well.
I also noticed in my short run that the oil pressure was nearing 100 just in taking off, not sure if this is normal. It settled a bit after the two minute drive.
This has been a common complaint during a cold start up since the S550 digital dash came out. It seems to be a software issue from all that I've read about it.
Nothing thrown on obd2, checked while idling
What kind of scan tool did you use?
Can you view live data on your scan tool?
Desperately trying to avoid a rebuild.
With only 68k miles I highly doubt that it's an internal engine problem.
