Last week we showed you an 846 hp 2018 Mustang GT that made its power using lots and lots of ethanol . This week, we've got one that makes even more power. And it does it the old-fashioned way: 108-octane race gas.
This 2018 Mustang GT from Hellion Turbo uses a stock-internal Coyote 5.0L V8. Then it gets a Hellion Eliminator twin-turbo kit featuring 1,000 cc injectors and a fuel pump voltage boost. It's using a Turbosmart eBoost 2 boost controller, a custom HP Tuners calibration, and it's drinking Torco 108-octane unleaded.
It all works together to make 870 hp and a staggering 817 lb-ft of torque.
Watch the dyno vid and soak in the sweet, sweet turbo whine.
