Could be the dealer but I was able to get in touch with Ford Performance several times and they looked up the order and I got “clean build, no scheduled date” each time. They did say if the dealer didn’t have an allocation to put the order against it would go to the bottom of the pile and get built if there was time. The dealer assured me they had allocations and put my order against one. Was that true? Don’t know but I don’t trust car dealers so very possible.

I would say probably not.

In any case like what I got better than my order so it all worked out. I have options for other Ford dealers in the area for future service etc and will choose one of them for needs.

That's all that matters. It's a really nice car. I would avoid that particular dealer for service since trust issues are already suspected with them.

did you get it ceramic coated in Biloxi area? if so where?

I don`t know if it`s still the case, but as far as I know all the convertible GT`s came with the strut tower brace.

I have a 2012 V-6 convertible, and it also came with the strut tower brace. I believe all Gen 5 convertibles came with the braces. Don't know if that is true also of Gen 6.
