Well, I haven't used that package, but I have used the Edelbrock Top End packages and they work great together. Depending on the duration of the camshaft you select you'd get the best performance by swapping to a higher stall torque converter. You'll also want to take into consideration the rear end gears and tire diameter when making that decision. You absolutely should replace the timing chain, and this would be the time to do it because you'll have to remove it anyways to swap the cam. What kind of performance are you looking for, and what type of idle and driveability?
