Anyone actually have the 5"? It sounds too big, but I can't knock it unless I actually see it, same with the 3.5". Opinions are welcome. It's for my 98, btw.

Which Cobra R hood, the '95 or '00?

5" rise would look absolutely ridiculous, only time it doesn't is if you have some badass engine that functionally requires the clearance.

Definitely the '95.
It doesn't look like you would think in the video on AM and the "Customer Photos" but they are just pictures, I guess I'd have to see it in real life.

check out HO fibertrends I would personally never go above the 2.5" unless I had crazy mods, and they also have a 4" I have never heard of 3.5" or 5" hoods.

I just bought a 4" for my 98. Haven't seen it yet cause I am currently deployed. My buddy has the 2.5" and it looks good. I just like a little more than the 2.5" has. I have seen pics of the 4" and it looks perfect for what I like. So all in all it is what you like and what you want. It is your car and your money. Some people like looks without a built motor or power adder. Ain't nothing wrong with that at all. I like looks and going fast so my projects tend to get pricey :hihi:

They only have 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 though. I like the 2.5 a lot, but the 3.5 looks pretty good, my buddy has a kaenan 3.5 and it's pretty badass.

I definitely agree, I like a little more than 2.5, so I think the 3.5" would be perfect for me, I haven't seen pictures of the 4" but I'd like to. I love looks and going fast as well, so I know what you mean. :heha:

I have the 4", pic in my gal. Wouldnt go much more then that. Sh!t I can barely see over the steering wheel, much less the hood.

I think I might go with the 3.5' to begin with, If I don't like it I'll just refund it for a smaller, I guess!
