how low in 3k? Also w/o insulting check it more often.
changing it and checking it are two different events...it's your car you'll be the one dealing with the blown engine if the oil gets too low...you gonna walk into the dealer and show them the "owner's manual" on that? NotNot to sure weather it's rite or wrong but definitely CRAZY! This is my 3rd mustang and I've built/rebuilt more motors than most normal folks have seen in there life time! Im thinking its more to do with how high the compression is an how light the oil is?? I'd hate to se what my intake and plugs look like?!?! Why should I have to check the oil every time I fill up when ford says it doesn't need changed but every 10k miles?
