3.8l, tips for making TB gasket removal easier

I'm in the process of replacing the throttle position sensor and I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone by removing the throttle body, throughly cleaning it (was rather dirty), and replacing the gasket but the old one is on there pretty well, I am wondering if there were any tips to removing gaskets easier.:worship

To remove smaller gaskets I use a square utility blade (like a razor blade) or a box knife blade. Keep the blade flat, don't use the corners to get a difficult part of the gasket, or you'll leave scratch marks. Finish with laquer thinner on a rag.
