just curious if anyone has any ideas of what power i would be making and if it is wise to run it on 24lb injectors without a tune temporarily?

Hmmmm...

30# injectors are maxed out somewhere around 400 RWHP I believe.

You should go with at least some 30# injectors I would think, perhaps even more. I suspect you will be in the 400 rwhp range. Cam might factor into that however...

If it was mine I wouldn't drive it with 24# injectors in it.

I would probably go for some 36's and what compression ratio you looking at?

woody said i would be in the 400whp range with 30lb injectors. i havent had a chance to talk to him since i have been busy with school. i plan on eventually getting 30lb injectors and it dyno tuned but im quickly running out of funds and im tired of having no car for the last year while i save up this much. i believe my comp ratio is supposed to be about 10:1. im mostly wondering if driving it w/o a tune and on 24lb injectors would be a bad idea?

to have the money for the injector and the tune would take till julyish since I'm also moving and need the money there but also the nearest dyno tuning shop I know of is an hour drive and I don't have access to a truck and trailer.

Got my short block from woody too, nice guy. Spending that kind of money, how much more would the Dart block have been for you? I went with a 363 ci Dart base, blown too makin just over 500 horses

honestly I'm not sure how much the dart block would have been I never asked and was happy with the power that should come from this motor when it is tuned since this was and will be my daily driver/ play toy lol.

Sell the 24's and the MAF and get some used 30's somewhere with a used MAF and then you could drive around and do whacha gotta do. With my combo I was reaching the limits of my 30's but my compression was closer to 11:1.
