I am thinking of putting a set of aussie heads on my cleveland. It is swap meet time, and i was wondering what is the easiest way to identify an aussie head (casting, etc.)? what are the specs on a stock aussie head?

any info would be awesome!

thanks!

This should help.

351 Australian Cleveland

There's also a thread in the 5.0 tech section, it's a sticky thread at the top with Ford casting numbers. It has 351C head info in it, as to what numbers to look for and what they came off of. My opinion, you should look for the D1AE heads, they're 2V heads with the 2.19 intake and 1.71 exhaust valves and streetable sized ports.

I thought those numbers would help you out. Should be able to find those closed chambers though.

You might try this fellow. I got a set from him a few years ago.
