Hey all,

I was wondering if someone here could give me a reasonable estimate on what a 351w with a performer intake, 600cfm carb, Comp XE268h cam, Hedman mid length headers, full dual exhaust, electronic ignition but stock heads (soon to go) would be putting down?

Thanks.

is it a 2v or 4v engine,,you stated that they are stock heads,,look at the front top corner of the driverside head,,should be a 2 or a 4 embossed there,,a stock 2v engine was rated (back in the day,,70's or so) about 250 hp,,,the 4v engine was about 300 hp,,one of the differences between the engines is the compression ratio,,,2v engines were 9:50 to 1,,and 4v engines were 11:00 to 1,,, or somewhere close to that,,,and if you have a 4v engine, you should be running high octane fuel....so for example,,if you have a 2v engine,,and added a four barrel carb, cam, headers and electronic ignition,,it would be safe to say you gained about 50 hp,,,
