Putting an old push rod 351w into a S197 is like replacing your 60" flat screen LCD with a 35mm projector and a pull down screen, but hey, whatever turns your crank!
All kidding aside, unless you are making a stripped out track car out of your S197, you are just pissing in the wind. The challenge you get has no reward at the end.. you now have a technologically inferior power plant in your car, one that doesn't interface with the computer, meaning issues, issues, and more issues. Save your money and throw a supercharger on.. probably cost less in the end and you will have more power.. save the 351w for something pre 1995..
