How are you going to calibrate the speedo?
You barked at me on another thread that I would need a tuner or Procal to correct speedometer since it's an auto lol!
IDS?

After your done with the swap it would be good to hear the differences on how the gears feel.
Definitely get the bearing kit.

I know there are other threads on auto gear swaps but not many.

So I'm a "barker" huh? lol. Just investigating for now. Went in today to get my F-150 serviced & thought I would see where they stood on it. Said procal & gears stayed under factory warranty. All's well as long as you don't crater out on the road I guess.

Are you using the procal just to calibrate the speedo or getting the performance tune as well?

Are the bearings & kit FRPP from AM also? Saw bearing/install kit + pinion bearing, correct? Looks like their price is pretty good on all that but a little more for procal/filter kit.

FUZZYDP - I too want to upgrade to the 3.73's. Please let me know if you pull the trigger on this and what it cost you. I asked my local Ford dealer the other day what the damage would be in labor alone. I about S**T my pants at what they told me. My problem now is trying to find a reputable shop in my area whom I can trust to do the work. Can't wait to hear how this works for you. Will most likely switch mine if you are happy with yours and provide a positive response. Thanks.

I need to verify Install kit #. Spoke to FRPP tech today & he "thought" we used M-4210-B instead of B1 but wasn't 100% sure. Anybody done this that can verify part #? Don't want to have wrong pinion bearing & car on lift @ dealer,.:nogrinner
