what year? if ur gonna get a 4.6 id get 1 that's already PI, i mean if performance is ur thing for it it'll save you the time/money for the swap
Mounting a front/front engine into a front/rear is going to be a major nightmare.I have a chance to buy a Lincoln 4.6 for 800.00 it has roughly 1000 miles on it. It will be going into a 66 fastback if I buy it. Is this a good deal? Is there a way to adapt this motor to fit an auto transmission with the motor pointing to the rear end instead of "sideways" for the front wheel drive?. Is it all Aluminum and Does anyone know what this motor weighs? Is the wiring harness expensive, That's if the owner can't find the harness it came with? Does anyone know what the horsepower would be?
Any info would be appreciated,:smoke:
