what year? if ur gonna get a 4.6 id get 1 that's already PI, i mean if performance is ur thing for it it'll save you the time/money for the swap
4.6 from Lincoln ??
I have a chance to buy a Lincoln 4.6 for 800.00 it has roughly 1000 miles on it. It will be going into a 66 fastback if I buy it. Is this a good deal? Is there a way to adapt this motor to fit an auto transmission with the motor pointing to the rear end instead of "sideways" for the front wheel drive?. Is it all Aluminum and Does anyone know what this motor weighs? Is the wiring harness expensive, That's if the owner can't find the harness it came with? Does anyone know what the horsepower would be?

Decisions to make?
I picked up a New Ford Performance 351 Windsor, It is Naturally asperated. It has 660 HP, But was considering the 4.6 for more consistency and less adjusting. What to do? Don't know the year but I believe it is a fairly new motor.

There are plenty of 93-98 Mark VIIIs out there for swaps that already have a front/rear aluminum 4.6L. Just try not to butcher a good car. Some of us like the Mark series and would hate to see a good one chopped up.
what better to drop in an old fastback than a 351 id stick it out with that i mean u already have it
