my mustang not overheating but it getting hotter than i want. has a new water pump. just ben flushed and it was running fine now it starting to run hot used to stay on the N in normal it now goes to M idk wat that is in dagrees but its getting hot. could the thermostat be stuck closed?

If the thermostat was stuck closed, the temps would go up uncontrollably as the hot fluid wouldnt be allowed out of the block to the radiator, and cool fluid wouldnt flow into the block.

Check with a laser temp reader. 180-210 is normal and you dont need to worry.

if your radiator is dirty it will make the temp go up slightly. spray it our with a garden hose.

Eagle is right, it will probably be back. Those are the worst issues. I would rather it keep acting up so I can find the problem and fix it.

i think it had air in the system and it workd itself out
