I have done a lot of research trying to figure out what the actual differences between the 5.0 coyote in the Mustang and in the F-150. Like many others, I am always looking to save money without sacrificing quality and reliability. So when I began my Pro touring 68 fastback project, the F150 engine seemed to be a good place where I could save some money. Attached is my write up. I tried to put it in the actual thread but I couldn't figure out how to paste the pictures and the tables in the message.
Long story short, I was able to build a motor very similar to the Boss 302 for nearly 1/4 the price of buying a crate one. also $1300 cheaper than buying a used mustang GT motor.
