Heya everyone. I'm new to mechanics and car tuning. And by new, I mean new. But I always like to dabble with the the unknown :D So I was wondering, would installing heads on a 5.0 be a task I would be able to undertake without having the risk of sending my engine to shits, or would it be something I should best leave up to my local Mustang expert :p I figure the best way to learn is to do, but if it'll cost me alot of money...The second best way is good enough for this guy.
Also, if anyone might know of any articles explaning head installation, don't be shy to toss them over this side...I'm eager to know how to make a mean stang!

I am working on a head cam intake article at the moment.

It takes approximately 5-9 hours to do a head swap depending on how much cleanup is necessary.

I already installed the heads, you can click the gallery icon below my avatar to see some pics. They were some Trickflow Track heat heads ported by Anderson motorsports to stage 2.
