I'm not 100% sure, but I do believe that all Ford V-8's after 86 used roller cams, I suggest checking out a Hayne's repair manual or something for a 93-95 Ford truck/bronco, I have one and it has some usefull information and pictures about the 351 in the specifications sections, I'm actually doing a 351 swap in my Lx, and I researched the same question, I came to the conclusion that if the motor didn't come with roller, I would make it roller, no big deal.
5.8 spec?
does anyone know if 5.8 truck motor 93-95 had roller cams? i am thinking about swapping one into my gt i know i need differnt flywheel ,oilpan ect .but i was not sure if ford used roller cam?

351W roller block casting number = F4TE.
If it's not F4TE, it's not roller.
If it's not F4TE, it's not roller.
if u get a 93 u can take the spyder out of the 5.0 motor and get a new cam w/ lifters to convert it
