Hey everyone -

I need to start with a humble note. I am 46 yrs old and have saved up for years to finally be able to afford this.

I recently purchased a plain 2014 GT with a 6 speed.

I am taking to Brenspeed in Dallas next week for:
1) Roushcharger 626R kit installation (this is actually the 575 with a Brenspeed tune is my understanding)
2) Boss 302 radiator install
3) Ford Racing GT500 heavy duty cooling fan install
4) Kooks 1-7/8" long tube headers, catted x-pipe and Flowmasters
5) Dyno tune with SCT x4 device

My questions:

What do you think of this combination? What am I missing? The transmission is a concern of mine, but I do not plan on tracking or drag-stripping it.
Any guesses on HP/TQ numbers?

I have no suspension upgrades yet, and am still running the factory 18" wheels on Pirelli P-Zero rubber. I suspect traction will be a problem. What recommendations do you have? How critical is it to switch to 20" wheels with better tires?

Appreciate all the comments, concerns and feedback in advance.

Well, one thing is for certain, it's gonna be fun. I would at least get lowering springs, good shocks/struts, and a pahhard bar. This will improve cornering, reduce the floaty feeling at speed, and reduce nosedive when braking. New wheels and tires would be next. You don't have to get 20's. There are lot's of choices and prices. See what others have on their supercharged cars.

OP. Once the supercharger is on, you will definitely need better tires. Drag radials are probably what you will consider as they are street worthy, and give much better traction than stock type rubber.
Your Roush, will give you so much more lower end that you will be surprised.
You will probably be considering suspension alterations. Lower, and upper control arm mods will be needed.
All in all though, you wont be ready for how much power you have.
My car is Procharged. And while the centi doesn't make power till the rpms are up there at 4,000 plus. It easily overpowers the tires.
With you set up, you are going to like it, but you will need to get some softer tires, and probably mod the suspension.
Good luck !

I went with the 2010 Shelby GT500 convertible wheels, 18 x 9.5 because they allow tire width sizes from 255 to 285, plus they have clearance for a 4 piston Brembo brake upgrade.
