Hello -- has anyone been able to find this for their restoration? I'm wondering if Ford elected not to use it, or if it's called something else. This is the part named by my mechanic, who is used to classic Camaros and not Mustangs.

It's apparently a metal/aluminum moulding that hooks to the weatherstripping and headliner. I can find it for the fastback, but not the coupe. It's not the same thing as the drip rail, which I have.

The correct name is 'Roof Rail Weatherstrip Channel'. And I found the same thing, you can only get the fastback version new. And they are not cheap. You may find a pair at one of the big Mustang junk yards out west.

If that fails, you could get a fastback one and get it cut and welded to fit a coup. Again, lots of money.

And buy the proper attach screws, MU,#PE766. They have a very low profile head.

Oh, and the thin double stick rubber that goes between the channel and the car is made by 3M, extra hold, can get it at Walmart.
