I've found out that these rims and tires were not that common on the 1965 coupe - let alone the 3 speed transmission on the floor...
So does anyone have info on production numbers of this car and/or
How many of you guys have this model...
..and is the car an oddball, unique piece or just another pony?

thanks,
kevin

Although 13" four-lug wheel wheels are not common today, they were standard on I6 '65's, as was the 3-speed manual transmission. If you bought a Mustang with no options, this is what you got.

Hi Joes72. My stang came as a 65, auto, decor, I6, 13" wheels. I got my original 3 spinner 13" hub caps ripped off. I ordered another 4 wheel set and have the NOS 13" hub caps with the red/white/blue center/spinner kit, but never installed the hub caps or spinner kit. In 2003 I pulled the Stang out of storage and upgraded to a V8 and 5 lug 1965 Mustang ss style wheels. The NOS hub caps are still in the original packaging in storage, but when I get back home in September, I could take some pics which still have the Ford part numbers on the stickers, if your interested.
