I found a 5.0 H.O. with attached AOD out of a 1994 Thunderbird, and am thinking it would be a great drivetrain for my '67 GTA project, can anyone think of any gotcha's that might prevent this or make it really not worthwhile? Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.

k, I looks like it's actually a '93 5.0 HO with AOD. It just came off the rotisserie so it has no engine mounts at all anyway. I have to run fuel lines regardless of carb or EFI, so would that engine and tranny a good choice for a '67 GTA? I live a 7k feet, with alot of altitude changes +/- 3k ft within 20 miles, that is the main reason for thinking about EFI.
