Here is a simplified wiring diagram for a 67 mustang I want to put a kill or start switch in but want to make sure I am looking at this right.


Option 1 add switch to #21 this will remove all power from the key when switch is open and car will not turn over.


Option 2 add switch to #16 car will turn over but not start until switch is closed


Option 3 Remove #32 from ignition switch and connect it via a push button momentary contact switch. This will allow you to push a remote button to start the car if and when the key is in the ignition and turned on

easiest way I found is switch to kill switch off the pink wire pig tail at the back of ignition switch. then pink wire to starter selonoid from kill switch. imo
