Yeah I know its a six,but gotta love them. I just got this car and my son and I plan on doing a restore for him(it was his grandfathers car),what I need to know is what is how much water this holds so we can drain it and put in new antifreeze for the winter,it is a 6 and not worth much to some but to him it is,so any help would be appericated. As you can tell we are new to this.

when i changed my antifreeze i let it drain into a plastic oil change pan then pour the anitfreeze into old empty windsheild washer jugs to get an idea of the amount. if u'r startin to fix u'r car up hp books msutang restoration handbook by don taylor and tom wilson is pretty interesting and has lots of info, like how to totally disassemble and rebuild u'r car. i also like the haynes repair manual but dunno if they make one for the 6. those sixes are killer engines i had a blast in my 70 maverick with a 200 six. u get the killer looks of early stangs, good gas mileage and pretty good power and easy to work on and they seem to be really tough hehe. www.fordsix.com has some cool info on making more horsepower.
