Hi, i'm new to this forum and the classic mustangs! I've had an '84 20th anniversary, then a '94 gt, and now have a '67 fastback that the wife and i just bought a week and a half ago.
My question is I bought a set of seatbelts with the front retractable belt, does anyone have any pictures to help me install these in the right position. The seatbelts that were in it were the wrong ones up front and the rear were the wrong color that have been buried under the seat for a few years and are all sized up rite now! Any help is appreciated and i look forward to learning and chatting!

Sorry Lizer. I overslept!

:yelwacko: Hey bronkntrukholik. Welcome to AFM. Congrats on getting your 67 FB. You'll find friendly, knowledgeable people on this forum that are always willing to help.

I have a 65 FB but it's pretty similar to your 67. Front seat belts install from the top side. There is a reinforced welded plate in your floor pans that is threaded (See pics). There is no nut on the back side (see pic). You mentioned that the front seat belts were the wrong ones. I would make sure that you have the correct bolt and spacer. The seat belt needs to swivel on the bolt in order to for it to be buckled comfortably. It will also keep you from wearing a hole in your carpet. If you're in doubt, the correct bolts can be ordered from your favorite Mustang Supplier (NPD, CJ's, MU, etc.) The belt with the retractor mounts to the rocker panel side.

Rear belts in 65 were an option and my FB doesn't have any so I can't help you with any pics. However, I would pull the rear fold down and cushion and check to see how the belts are mounted. You should have an anchor plate and some spacers. If you don't, those too are readily available from your supplier. Hope this helps. Good Luck :winks
