I have a 68 mustang with a t-5 transmission in it with a performance clutch, i just installed the performance clutch and now randomly it just wont go into gear. Yesterday i was driving after i installed a radiator and i stopped at a traffic light and it wouldnt go into first gear, i finally got it into first gear and i pulled over and there was coolant leaking out of the bottom hose. i tightened up the hose clamp and let it cool down and the clutch went back to normal? the guage was at 182 i never over heated or anything. At random times my clutch just decides not to "Disengage" i guess. Any ideas?

The 2 likely do not have anything to do with each other......it sounds as if the clutch was not engaging correctly.....caused from pre-mature wear/component failure and/or improper adjustment

i have to put it into first gear before i can put it into reverse without it grinding. so when it "locked up" again i decided to put it into third gear, which slid in easily, and then i put it back into 1st gear and it went in fine could there be something wrong with the transmission? when the cars off it goes into all the gears with no problem
