Any help. I have a 84 mustang that had a v6 changed it out to a 5.0 have everything working but the fuel pump, It comes on and rums for about 2-3
seconds when key is turned on but does not built up any pressure. Has pump
on frame.
I think so. You could just rig up (and hide) a cutout switch. It'd be a good thief stopper. But first, just run the pump continuously for a minute or so,(check for leaks too while you do this) and then wire it back up the way it was, and see if it will start and run. What you describe, sounds normal.
