can anyone help got a 86 mustang gt 8.8 rear end fill plug rounded out if i get it out where can i buy a new one does anyone still make the fill plug thanks

o yea my local parts guy said that 86 8.8 rear end don't use friction modifier is that true thanks

friction modifier is necessary for all traction-lok systems. If your 86 has a locking differential(clutch type) then you need the friction modifier

yea it's a stock 5 speed the told me just use 80w-90 gear oil no friction modifier he also told me all he does is work on mustang i think that funny if he only works on mustang why wouldn't he know too use friction modifier he a ass it was autozone and he the manager thanks dude that what i thought just wanted 2 make sure

dont let him near your mustang..

you can use the breather on top of the pass. side axle tube to fill the rear end..its a 9/16" wrench size..

its like a little round nipple/cap thing that sticks up..it also has a bracket for the brake line attached...
