I just got a 331 stroker installed in my '86 vert and replaced the master cylinder and booster. The brake pedal goes further down than with the stock motor before they grab, but they still perform like before once they do grab. The pedal never hits the floor.
The brakes were bled about 8 times, the front brake lines were replaced, rear ones were ok, and we put on another new master cylinder and booster which helped a bit.
Front brake pads were also replaced.
The only thing that hasn't been replaced is the proportioning valve and the brakes are stock '86 brakes. 4 lug front disc, 4 lug rear drum.
Any suggestions?

Thanks Reggie.
Hopefully this will help. If I install this, can I still keep the rubber front brake lines that were replaced?
Let me know.

Has anyone installed one of these vacuum canisters? What were the results?
Any feedback is appreciated.
