I have this old school mechanic and he said the higher the octain the better it is for the injectors. But in fact I starded to run with the 87 and the car does feel to respond much better, maybe its in my head but it does seem to be better.
i started running with the 87 octane and it was fine, but today i filled up and i started to hear the pinging, only at the lower speed 5 - 10ml is this something to worry about? i must tell you ive been using 93 octane for about a year, did i condition the car or something?
