Hi all,
Occasionally, when I hit a bump just right, my stang dies out momentarily. If i hit enough bumps at once it even surges. They only way to stop it is to restart the car. It used to permanently die out with the bumps or after driving for a while, so i changed the tfi. No more long term death, but still not right. I also raised the idle a little, adjusted the tps to .98 (on the dot!!), brought timing to 10 degrees btdc (it was at 6 degrees btdc), cleaned my idle control solenoid, and replaced the ecc relay (which was getting hot). It still surges. I plan on replacing the distributor pickup. Is there anything esle anyone can think of, inertia switch, grounds (although the look fine), or anything else. Thanks
