Depends on the Trans and rear gear but if they are the same exact I'd say they'll run pretty close together.

The one with more rust. That is a stage 1 weight reduction in ricer terms.

The '89.

It might be lighter do to the fact that it has less features.

my 91 gt would it has a better clutch feel alot tighter so i can launch it better and the seats dont have those nappy headrest. but the 89 might get me due to the weight of my ground effects. but you didnt say if it was a LX or a GT? oh yea you did you said GT well mine then. Cause ill drive it like i stole it. But still my seats are nicer. this is the best question yet so far i think ive seen. :tongue :kooky: :eyepoppin yea just like the other guy said probably the one i would be driving ripping the stick out of it breaking those crappy t5s with a stock shifter, maybe if the 91 had a short throw you'd have a great advantage. omg what a great ? lol lol lol
