I have a 91 hatchback and it has been lowered quite a bit. Most old people have trouble getting in and out of high vehicles, well this one is too low for them. I need front springs and am unsure of how the shop will do this. I do not know exactly what springs they are but they should be able to tell what size and such right?
And does anyone know how much having a shop do this would cost?
Thanks

well, you could go buy the springs yourself. that would save on the shops mark up for parts. you can borrow a spring compressor from autozone and do it yourself too. if you want a nice set of springs that arent too low, go with the ford racing springs. its mild .8 inches lower than stock in front, and .5 in back. they are specific rate springs, so are cheaper than other aftermarket progressive ones. if you want an easier ride, then the springs that have the part number ending in B are the ones you want. the ones that end in C are 650 lb springs up front, pretty stiff. ( im getting them anyway )

from summitracing.com, the B kit is 129 and the C kit is 149
from Jegs.com they are both 139
