u can try cleaning ur idle control valve or just replace it an the brake light problem i cant say i can help with that but it just might be that the idle is off so try cleaning or replacing the idle control valve
I solved my own problem! i replaced my ACT Air Charge Temp sensor with one off of my other 302 cause it looked newer sprayed it with some carb cleaner, sealed the threads reset the computer and bam no more high idle! the highest it would idle was around 1100 but then would drop to 800 on its own, which means its doing its job right
