I have a 95 mustang ge manual transmission and this sunday when i was going home, my car starts slowing down, i shifted from 5th to 4th gear then to third... i took it off the freeway to see what was wrong and when i started it again it didn't shift at all.
any suggestion what the problem can be? i cleaned the thottle body that day early in the morning, as u know i had to remove the accel and clutch cable. maybe i did something wrong when i put them back together. :smilie

you had to remove he clutch cable to clean the tb? why? is it grinding? stuck in gear? make any noises?

maybe is not the clutch cable but the 2 cables (pins) that are attached o the TB. and no, is not grinding, not stuck in gear (maybe in neutral), and doesn't make noise at all. its justa like if u were stepping on the gas and just the engine works even though is it in 1, 2, 3, 4,5 or reverse.
