i just bought a 96 gt from my aunt because it went through a hurricane/flood. the turn signals/headlights didnt work and the horn doesnt sound when the alarm is triped

after puting on the brights now the headlights work i think i the turn signals work now because i turned on the hazard lights once but the right turn signal blinks fast

is this a common problem after a car was flooded any reccomendations

You need to check all the bulbs, I think one will blink fast if there is a bulb out. Yes it is common for flood vehicles to have electrical problems, be prepared for a lot of troubleshooting.

I had a similar problem when I had to drive tru a s**t load of water about two months ago.
What I did was, I hoked the battery of, took every electric connector appart, let all the connectors dry, put some electric contact spray on and asembled the whole thig again.
That actually solved the problem.
