Hi guys,

I need some help to pin-point a squeal coming from my car. I have isolated it to the drivetrain. While the car is in motion I pushed in the clutch and the squeal goes away. And it is there with the clutch released. It is relative to my acceleration. It gets into a higher pitch the faster I go. So I'm guessing it is a bearing starting to go on me. Has anyone else experienced this and what was the cause. My car is a 96 GT 5sp. Clutch was replaced last year and there was no squeal then. It has only been recently the squeal has been occuring. Also, the tranny had it fluids changed two years ago and only have about 15000 km or 9300 miles.

Thanks, James.

The shop that put your clutch in didn't pack your Throwout Bearing with enough grease! That's your problem!
