Recently my 96v6 has started to give me some weird reading on the oil gauge. Everytime i make a stop at a light or at a stop sign, my oil gauge goes all the way down to Low and goes to the red mark. But i as soon as i step on the gas it goes back to normal but if i stop it does the same thing again. I noticed that my battery gauge also moves when that happens. Sometimes it feels like the car will shut down on me. Any idea what could be happening?

you "may" have a short, but I'd take it to the shop to be sure.
