after the key had been on for about 2 to 3 minutes the pcm starts clicking, at first it starts doing it slow, then it really starts going faster. The car doesnt even have to be running, just the ignition turned on. While it is running, when it is clicking slow, it is just like turning the key off and on real fast. When the car is not running the cooling fan starts running. Changed the pcm that didn't cure the problem. I also replaced the coil packs. Had it plugged in and there is no codes. At first it took longer for it to start doing this now it is starting to do it faster. Any Ideas??

That is weird. You could be looking at a bad or loose ground, a corroded splice to the ecm power supply, or a loose terminal in the fuse box. For $17 you can get tech manuals from alldata.com for a year, they cover wiring, tsb's and repairs. Saves buying stuff you don't need. Sounds like I am pitching, but without info, the best mechanic in the world will take forever to find an electrical problem.
