I recently got an estimate to replace the spider gear in the rear diff. and to replace/rebuild the right rear axle in my 97 Mustang GT 4.6 They want $1130.00 Is this a good price? If not, what should it cost roughly?
Do it yourself, buy a new center section and axle with bearings and seals. It would be cheaper, and you would know what you have. And seeing that you have the center section out, now would be the time to change your ring and pinion if you haven't done so already, Mike. SCT Tuner.:bigthumbsup
