Hello everyone I am a new owner of a 98 3.8L v6 convertible Mustang. I am looking into some bolt on upgrades for performance. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i would like to achieve above average performace in the terms of speed and handling. For now i am sure i will do alot more later. I am old school tinkerer from a 64 1/2 mustang to a few novas and a falcon. So i am just looking for some fun upgrades.

Gotcha. When you're browsing the link I posted... keep on eye on the member's signatures. You'll see a trend as to what are popular mods to perform. The great thing about the SN95 V6's (as opposed to the GTs) is that they're a bit lighter and have a better front to rear weight balance so suspension mods really work well.

Enjoy and keep us posted!

I use to have this on my older Mustang and it was a great, cheap, easy upgrade.

I also had the cat-back installed on that bad boy. You can really get away with some cheap upgrades from Steeda to really get some extra power out of the 98's

Speaking from a former owner, I was very happy with the 5 years of driving with my upgraded parts. Just a thought.. Let me know if you need any more suggestions?
