Hello all!
My compressor has black death and sounds terrible (I.E like keys being played with by a baby.)
So, I was wondering if anyone had a clear way to just bypass it for a little while.
I know I need a v6 pulley 6 rib (I believe tensioner correct?) and a 70.5 in belt.
Does anyone basically have clear instructions on what to do? As the one post I've found is very cluttered and hard to understand.
The odds favor that your problem is a bad AC clutch bearing. It's not hard to change IF retaining the field coil. Why not just repair the AC clutch? The job does not require that the Freon be serviced. I suspect that it will be cheaper and easier.
