I'll have to agree, it's really hard to find a decent mechanic these days. When our other 'Stang got wrecked and 'repaired' it still didn't drive right. I took the car back numerous times to get it fixed right. Each time I spoke to the frame / chassis shop manager and he assured me each time that it was fixed properly that time. When I finally when to the dealership manager I was promptly told that all the repairs were done 'in spec' and no further repairs would be done. I told them that 'in spec' doesn't mean done right. So I took the car and traded it on one that hadn't been wrecked.

Ya know, I tried my best to make the insurance company and repair shop understand that fact before any work was done, but I was deployed and couldn't convey my message clearly enough. So I kept pinging on them after the work was done because I was promised it would drive like a brand new car when it was all done. It didn't and I was pissed so I made sure I became a thorn in their side as much as I could afterwards.

USAA, they wouldn't even give me an email address to contact an adjuster so I wouldn't spend a fortune on the phone while deployed.
