I washed my car yesterday and cleaned up the rims, wiped the glass, gelled the tires, etc. That evening myself and my girlfriend was sitting outside on the patio enjoying a nice evening, drinking a few beers, some candles lit, just chilling and talking. I went to the bathroom and when I came back I saw her picking some tree pod stuff off of the car ever so carefully and tossing them to the ground. Wow I'm really starting to like this girl!

Man, you gotta love a lady that appreciates your baby. Mine thinks I'm nuts. She told me it's just a car! :headscratch:

I think it's time for a new GF.

Hang on to her! My wife would be more likely to key my car if I stepped away. :so

My dad, who is a big car nut, got the short shaft with my mom. For my mom seems to think a car is a car...unless it is a Honda. So she never understood my dad's obession for cars. But now that mom and dad are divorced, dad's new significant other is a car girl herself. In fact, if I recall the story, when he first met her and discovered she was driving a '96 Camaro SS and she knew what she had, he was thrilled. She does not complain one iotta about him spending money for cars, car parts, or even cleaning supplies.

My last girlfriend thought cars are just cars, unless of course it is a Mercedes, BMW or a Lexus. She was a bit on the ghetto side (she liked trucks and SUVs with 24" wheels). Her ultimate idea of a car was a BMW 750iL with 22"-24" chrome wheels. When we went 4 wheelin', she went along and enjoyed the heck out getting all muddy, but then left the clean up for me and my buds.

Sounds like a keeper! I knew my wife was THE ONE when she helped me pack wheel bearings. That was 28 years ago! We'll be celebrating our 25Th wedding anniversary in June!

She won't pack wheel bearings anymore!:gringreen
