Ok. so what do you mean it quit all together????I have rebuilt these tranny's from the Explorer's.They are not hard to do if you have the time and knowledge.If you want to go over to www.seriousexplorations.com and look for the A4LD rebuild diary,it will help you out alot.Plus it will also give you tips and tricks to make it a good trans.

im hoping for advice on rebuilding an a4ld tranny.
mine just stopped working all at once.....
was told it was either the front pump or in/out shaft....
it wasnt the shaft. now ive opened it up and thinking of a rebuild.
anyone done these before?
