I have a 1996 Mustang V6 and the ABS light has been on for a VERY long time now. My dad and i replaced the brake pads a while back. Other than that, theres nothing we've done to the brake system.
Did the ABS light only appear after you changed the brake pads? And did you replace front, rear, or both? If the light came on after you did the pad swap, make sure you didn't unplug or pull the wire out of any of the ABS sensors; four-wheel ABS or rear-only?
