ac went out 2000 ford mustang

i have a 2000 ford mustang and my ac recently just started blowing hot air, i tried putting some freeon it it and it worked for a couple of days and now its doing the samething, someone told me i could have a leak or something wrong with my compressor, please let me know i can get this fixed inexpensively, or let me know if i can fix it myslef thank you

sounds like you got yourself a leak

go get some dye and a black light, and find the leak, and patch it up. if its not in a terribly difficult spot, it shouldnt be too hard to fix.
