Okay, so I got a new vehicle! It's really special to me. It's my dads first bike.

It's a 1985 GS 700 E

Red and white!

it's fast too! 700cc's in a little bitty bike! Just had it tuned up, new battery, new oil, and gassed up!

Im so excited! I get my endorsement on tuesday after finishing my classes on saturday and sunday.

I'm really happy right now! This bike is an antique too so the value will go up as well.

Im going to keep this stock since it is an antique but no doubt, im going to enjoy it. ill get pic's up when i can.

hmm nice, what did ya pay? and next you will get a gxr1000 :yup: im a yami guy but those suzuki 1000's are sexy. and those srad's i dont know why but i like them allot. well get her to the track and let us know what ya run

That's nice! It's a great starter bike.

I just got rid of my '03 r6 a couple of days ago...hoping to get a new r1!! I can't wait lol

im looking at buying a 99' yamaha yzfr6 right now. it got donated to school and its only got 3k miles. i guess the jets in the carb got clogged and the owner put the bike in the corner of his garage and kept putting off repairs. finally he donated it to school and i might be buying it.

but eitherway im going to get around a 600cc bike when i turn 17, then when i turn 21 im gonna bump up to a hayabusa, r1, or a ninja zx-10r. i started with a yamaha ttr90 when i was little and when i got big enough, i started riding my dads yamaha tw200. so i cant wait to bump it up.

I got it for free! It was my dads second motorcycle. he decided to hand it down to me.

hehe i love this bike so much. 700 cc's... fast! keeps up with the crotch rockets! im going to keep it forever.

but i am looking at the er-n's 650cc naked bikes.. 0-60 in 3.8

damn i would love a bike, but when i consider saving up and spending 5kish for a mediocre bike, i realize that for a little more i could have an aluminator longblock. if someone handed me one that would be a whole nother story though:bigthumbsup

well, you can pick up something pretty nice for about 1 grand! it's so worth it! and with 65mpg, it's all worth wilde ;D

yeah i was thinking maybe next summer. i would kind of want to get a decent one though if i'm going to get one. nothing crazy, but something respectable.

yeah, well, the gs500's are fast. 0-60 in 4.4 ish, and only 4 grand.. well not only.. but it's a great bang for the buck. and it has incredible gas mileage. i think of it this way. it's a great looking bike, and i dont need to be going faster then 0-60 in 4 seconds.

i think my next toy will be a real good shifterkart of some sort. i always liked those, but i thought they were all custom and had to be built yourself. hopefully i can pick up a 125cc shifter.
