Adjustable sway bar end links

I'm in the process of upgrading my stock sway bars to aftermarket adjustable bars. All of the popular kits I've been researching don't come with new front end links. Are adjustable front end links worth it when upgrading sway bars? What does adjustable end links allow? My car is street driven and doesn't go to the track.

Thanks.......

adjustable end links are really only needed on a lowered car IMO. When you drop your car it pulls the ends of the sway bar up. the adjustable end links are there to correct this. You lengthen the links. Its also stronger so it wont flex or break under stess. You can adjust preload on the swaybar. The whiteline one comes with them. The next cheapest but still good option is the steeda ones. This is all my opinion though. (so i dont get in trouble by the forum Gods)

Thanks, good info! I'm lowered so these can't hurt.

I lowered my car and have not had the money yet for sway bars or the watts link yet. Do you know if by lowering the car and not having adjustable end links effects my cornering performance or causes additional or adverse stress on my stock sway bars? If so, then I am wondering if there are adjustable end links that can be purchased and then re-used with aftermarket sway bars etc so I don't waste money. I am considering going with BMR sway bars in the future. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and get new sway bars but if I can only do front or rear which should I do first? Hope this is not considered hijacking.

Adjustable swaybar end links are NOT required for lowering. There are different reasons are person might want adjustable links (like changing the swaybar angle or adjusting pre-load) but they certainly aren't required.
Aren't they required in the front for lowering ?
I have never heard of them for lowering. Pre-load and angle, yes
I lowered my car last year and did a ton of research. The subject of adjustable end links never even came up. If Sharad says they are not necessary then that is good enough for me.
They can be required, depending on your struts. Many coilover kits have relocated swaybar brackets and will require shorter endlinks. See pic for comparison- stock length endlink and shortened endlink I had to run. If your endlinks are too long, they will bind on the FLCA.

Well, I went with the adjustable end links. I figured do it right the first time and be done with it. Thanks to all for the advice and info!

Not an attempt to high jack the thread but I've been hearing popping/knocking noises from my front suspension and got under the car this morning and my sway bar passenger side makes noise when moving it with my hand. Same noise. I tried tightening the bottom end link bolt but still makes the noise. Am I doing this right or is there a bushing that's bad?

Could be the balljoint itself in the endlink.

Are they supposed to wiggle around?
Are they supposed to wiggle around?

They should swivel but should not have any play in them or move in or out.
Does anyone make adjustable or longer links for the rear on a 13-14? I have an odd issue that a longer set of links would fix.
