Looking at a set of these AFR 185 Eliminator heads for my 93 5.0. My question is will I be able to run these with the stock pistons? They have 2.020 and 1.600 valves. Also which set should get the 58cc or 72cc. I'm running a paxton sn2000 and need to watch my c/r.

Piston to valve clearance isn't something to find the limits of. Be a good idea to fly cut the pistons because those 2.02's are kinda big, just hope they're not shrouded by the stock 302 bore.

Go to AFR site, there is everything you need to know on there site. I run the AFR 185s, you will love them, and don't let anyone touch them. Use as is the midrange torque is amazing. You don't need to run a big came like the other heads. I love mine so much I had to share sorry.
